Public Consultation regarding the Adoption of Land Drainage (Wales) Bylaws


Gwynedd Council: Land drainage by-laws 2019


Welsh Government have approved the above bylaws and Gwynedd Council propose to adopt them in their entirety. The bylaws are required to strengthen the control of land drainage systems within Gwynedd.

As part of the adoption process there is a requirement for a Public Consultation. The consultation period will come to an end on 20/12/2018 which is at least one month beyond the date of the published Notice of intention to adopt. Draft copies of the bylaws can be seen at the following:

  • Gwynedd Council Libraries
  • Gwynedd Council website
