'Kate' drama to be performed in Bangor

At 7pm on Monday, 16 September a performance of the play 'Kate' by Carys Gwilym of ‘Mewn Cymeriad’ will be held at Berea Newydd Chapel, Bangor.


The play tells the fascinating and complex life story of the queen of Welsh literature, Kate Roberts, who was born in Rhosgadfan in 1891.


The play scripted by Janet Aethwy has toured all over Wales and has been extremely well received. There were two performances in the Merched y Wawr tent at the Eisteddfod in Llanrwst, with all tickets sold out.


Neil Williams from popular group 'Maffia Mr Huws' will also be performing live guitar presentations to accompany the performance.
