The information on this page is relevant to members of the Armed Forces, ex-members , their families, and widows and children of those who were killed while serving for their country.

Blue Badges:  Injured Armed Forces personnel and Veterand have a right to a blue badge


Free bus travel:  Injured Armed Forces Personnel and veterans are allowed to travel free by bus

Blind Veterans UK:  Aid for blind and visually impaired Veterans. Assistance in accessing benefits and provide financial support.

Veterans Wales (GIG)Veterans NHS primary goal is to improve the mental health and well-being of veterans. It is working to establish sustainable and accessible services which meet the needs of veterans living in Wales.

Housing Pathway for Ex-Service Personnel

Help with school fees and childcare costs:  If you are currently serving in the Armed Forces, you may be able to claim an allowance to help pay for your child's boarding school fees.

"Be the boss" - Royal British Legion:  CivvyStreet aims to provide support and mentoring for all those recently leaving, or about to leave, the forces who are looking for employment opportunities and a chance to redeploy the skills learned while serving.

The Royal British Legion - seaside breaks and family holidays - The Legion provides families of serving and ex-Service personnel the chance to take a break and get away from the stresses and strains of everyday life.
