Local Access Forums

Gwynedd is covered by three Local Access Forums:

• Northern Snowdonia Local Access Forum (administrated by Snowdonia National Park Authority)
• Southern Snowdonia (Joint) Local Access Forum (administrated by Snowdonia National Park Authority)
• Arfon & Dwyfor Local Access Forum (administrated by Gwynedd Council - details below)

Arfon and Dwyfor Local Access Forum

The Arfon and Dwyfor Local Access Forum covers the area outside the National Park boundary.

The Forum is expected to give advice on three main topics:

• The implementation, management and review of the new right of access to open countryside
• Improving the rights of way network  
• The development of recreation and access strategies that cater for everyone
