16+ Travel Ticket

The 16+ Travel e-Ticket Timetables lists the services available as part of your ticket. Remember that your ticket will not allow you to travel on all public transports in Gwynedd. It is your responsibility to make sure that the service you need is available to / from the location and at the time you want to travel. 

Once you have ordered an e-ticket it will be available right away on apGwynedd. apGwynedd is free to download from Google Play or Apple Store. You will need to show your e-ticket on your phone every time you travel.

Once you have ordered an e-ticket it will be available to download immediately on apGwynedd.

If you already have apGwynedd on your phone, you may need to log out and log back into the app to access your ticket.

We will e-mail a link to download apGwynedd once you have bought your e-ticket. If you don't received this e-mail, check your spam folder. Any problems, just send an e-mail to fynghyfrif@gwynedd.llyw.cymru

If you're travelling on a school/college only bus, you will need a 16+ Travel Ticket to travel on it. It is not an option to pay for individual trips. If you're travelling on a regular service bus, it is an option to buy single trips..

You don't need a ticket to travel between one college/school site to the next as part of your course. Your college is responsible for providing the transport during the schooling day.

If you're over 15 years old and attending year 12 or a further education course, you do not need to order a ticket.

If you're travelling to Coleg Meirion Dwyfor Pwllheli and you live in certain areas to the South of Porthmadog, it's possible that you will be offered a train ticket. If you journey qualifys for a train ticket, the option will be offered to you when applying for the ticket. 

E-tickets are currently not available for train travel (only plastic tickets through the post). Please remember that a train ticket can take up to 10 days to be delivered, so do order early!

All you need to do is download apGwynedd on another phone/device and your ticket will be available right away.

Let us know of any changes in your personal details. Just log in to your online account and go to My Requests. Open the request and send us an update.

You must adhere to the behavior code, travel ticket terms and conditions and Post 16 Transport Policy. If you have not respected the terms, your ticket may be confiscated.
